I set up autopay and had no issues for 4.5 years. They have a descent website in which you can see your account information and make payments, which I used to pay the loan off early. They sent me the title rapidly, it was lost in the mail (I believe them, I've had repeated problems with USPS), the customer service rep I called was courteous and helpful and promptly send me out another for a $30 fee, which seems reasonable for a legal document. I would borrow from them again.

I have leased Honda's through Honda Finanace for ~ 15 years and I think they have finally lost me as a customer. We have ez pass in my state, and apparently mine died back in February and I had no idea because there is no way to tell. Honda makes you keep everything with them so when I was going through tolls and my pass wasn't paying them the state sent Honda financial the bill. They started around 2/25-3/12. Honda didn't send me the bills until the first week of May. Their customer service is condescending and rude and were not helpful until I got a supervisor on the phone and that can take up to 20-30 minutes to wait for one. They keep trying to tell me I'm at fault for this, but I cannot know something that's being withheld from me. I have had issues with them in the past as well and I think the way they have treated me this time, for an issue they created, has me done for good.

Horrible customer service

I was in a head on collision going 40mph and my airbag didn't deploy. The other driver drove the wrong direction into my lane. Her car was totaled. My Civic had almost $8,000 in damages and has been in the shop for over a month waiting a replacement seatbelt. No one can give us any idea when the seatbelt may arrive. I called Honda Financial because I shouldn't have to pay them for a car I can't drive. I spoke with a girl named Esther who was trying to help me and was going to talk to her supervisor. We got disconnected, and when I called back another girl told me that I couldn't speak with a supervisor but one could call me back in 1-2 business days. I have a very hard time believing that, especially since the first girl Esther was already trying to help me before we got disconnected. The second girl hung up on me when I wanted to record our conversation. Turns out they can record a conversation but the customer can't. Esther did call me back to say she was waiting to speak with her supervisor still. I haven't heard anything since. Honda Financial will not call me back. Why should I have to pay Honda Financial when Honda Motors can't make a seatbelt? Absolutely horrible customer service.
lost my title

I paid off my car and have not received my title. I called and waited 25 minutes to speak with someone to find out what happened. They mailed it out on June 28th, and it is now July 18th, and I still have not gotten it. Why was this important document sent through USPS and not Fed Ex or UPS? If I was offered either of those options, I would have paid the 6 or 7 dollars for a safer, more guaranteed method of delivery. Now, I have to pay $60 to DMV to get a duplicate title. Being a single parent makes this a hard pill to swallow. I did nothing wrong, yet I have to pay the price for other peoples' stupidity , carelessness, and ignorance. I will continue to post negative reviews on all social media sites until I feel justice has been served. I have read other complaints about this same issue. I wish I did my research before financing with them. Others have filed complaints with the attorney general, and it looks as though I will be doing the same thing.

No problems. Just paid one crv off, gave it to my husband and bought a new one for myself. Auto pay is easy to set up and customer service is always very helpful. Will use again, when the time comes.
bad deal

watch out for rent fee. it is about 7% of the entire amount MSRP, even though you have a 36 month lease-plus $595 aqusition fee. the sales people hide this until you goto finance, having made many decisions already and signed an agreement to the price. request the lower APR instead anything below 4% is a better deal.
Wrong title - update

OK, I have to say that I was expecting the worst, but I also have to be honest. The representative I spoke with was courteous, professional, helpful and efficient. He located the correct document, and they're going to overnight it to me. They admitted they'd messed up and were eager to fix the problem. Maybe the operation is getting better.
Wrong title

I paid off the loan early and was told they would send me the title. They sent me the wrong title: different owner, different VIN, even different model year. WTF. I'm not looking forward to trying to straighten this out with them, given what I've read about their customer service. I'm answering the "how was customer service" out of hope, not expectation.
Lack of Customer Service

I paid my car off in April 2018. It is September 2018 and they still have not released my title yet. What is worse is trying to contact them. There is no email address so the only option is to call and wait at least 20 minutes on hold to talk with someone who may or may not be able to help you.
What a frickin nightmare...........

Never, ever, ever, again. Trying to get the lien released on the loan so I can sell to new owner. They make it as hard as possible. Around and Around and around we go. Numerous calls and 5 hours of my life later, I lost the sale of the car and now need to get another loan because I paid off the Honda loan with a short term unsecured loan. Don't even think of using Honda Financial. Can't email me. Can't do electrionically. Can't Can't Can't. Can I speak to your supervisor. "I could see if I could find someone" and waste some more time. What a joke. Easy on the front end, but a giant pain on the back end. Stick with your local bank or pay off loan and get title long before you sell. example: They asked for proof that I paid off the loan, even though they showed a zero balance on their account. Bungling idiots.
Horrible, Just Horrible

I received a call from Miram, I assume one of the customer service agents. They left me a voicemail. Shortly after my ex husband sent me the same voicemail. My ex husband has nothing to do with my car. We were divorced for two years when I bought the car. When I called Miram back and asked the purpose and how they got my ex husbands information she told me "We use whatever resources necessary to track down you and our collateral. Mind you they have my correct phone number, my correct work address and my correct home address. I am not a criminal. I am not stealing or hiding your collateral. You know exactly where it is. I will NEVER have another car financed through Honda Financial Services!!!
